iOS 10: Apple's new software update causes problems to users when upgrading(bricking)
Apple's biggest launch started on an off note on Tuesday night as there was so many complaints from its customers who were trying to upgrade to the latest iOS.
Apple launched the new iOS 10 at around 6pm UK Time not long before people started complaining about the upgrade.
Several users of ipad and iPhone were complaining of receiving error messages and "bricking" this is when the devices are rendered as unusable because of either software or hardware fault.
After users installed the iOS 10 update, their devices rebooted expecting them to open to iOS 10.But to their surprise, the devices instead showed a screen prompting them to plug them into a computer else they became useless until they did so.
Support team from apple has been informing users to back up their phones before conducting the upgrade and they also recommended that users should download the software through iTunes.
"We apologize to our small number of users who experienced a small problem during upgrade. We were able to resolve the problem quickly". Said Apple in a statement.

This is not the first time apple has had such problems, during the year 2011 when they were also launching a major upgrade to iOS 5,There were also numerous errors from users who wanted to upgrade.Do not install iOS 10. It's also bricked my iPad Pro. iPhone 6S Plus will require PSU wipe. No access to calls, email, or calendar today.— Brianna Wu (@Spacekatgal) September 13, 2016
