Lang'ata ladies' detainment facilities had an uncommon event on Wednesday after they held  a colorful beauty contest  that has attracted to several media attentions.

The beauty contest has since then caused abuzz on social media after beautiful photos of the inmates were shared on social media platform raising anxiety on team Mafisi and other Kenyans.

One detainee who goes by the name Wanjiru Kamande who is a murder convict is the one who won the contest..Wanjiru emerged the top among the nineteen contesters who participated.
