on Citizen TV’s The Big Question, Ruto denied ever knowing Wetangula’s wife, Anne, let alone going to bed with her behind Wetangula’s back as was claimed by the media.


He termed these allegations as mendacious and ridiculous and ones that were meant to tarnish his name and destroy his family, saying he has never met Anne.

Ruto accused the Opposition of using misfortune in Wetangula’s marriage to target him unfairly.

“I do not know Wetangula’s wife and have never met her and for some to say that she was in my office a day before she went on to barter her husband is unfortunate,” said Ruto.
