Sources who spoke to viralnewsalerts.blogspot.co.ke disclosed that Mr Kiptoo, a younger brother to Ruto, passed on after a long battle with cancer.

But other sources have intaimated to us the younger brother died from kidney failure.

His body was taken from Lee Funeral Home to Eldoret on Sunday. Burial arrangements are underway.

Cord leader Raila Odinga and his wife Ida condoled with Ruto saying Kiptoo was well known to them.
They prayed for comfort and protection for the family.

President Uhuru Kenyatta said Kiptoo was a humble, kind and courageous man who was dedicated to his family, friends and country.

"In this hour of sorrow, I convey my sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, relatives and friends," he said.
