Olympic Champion David Rudisha and Mo Farah gets arrested in UK.The gold medalist were were getting fitted for the training a head of the Great North Run on Sunday.

It was later discovered that ,Police in the UK pulled a “Mo Farah and Rudisha arrested" online prank and went on to posted the prank on Facebook and Twitter.

Reports from UK media outlet, Chronicle live, police officers caught up with Mo Farah and fellow Olympian David Rudisha training on the Quayside in Newcastle, and decided to pull the prank.

The two were released shortly after the prank claiming there was no enough evidence to keep them in police custody.

Police say they didn't even take them to the station they remained at the car's back seat where they were chatting.

The two are to participate in the UK's Great North Run Marathon that is to happen during this weekend.
