There was early morning dramatization at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) after Congolese rhumba maestro, Koffi Olomide, ambushed one of his artists openly under the glare of cameras.
Koffi, otherwise called Le Grand Mopao, flew into the nation Friday morning for a live show to be held at the Bomas of Kenya on Saturday.
He was recorded on camera kicking a female artist who had come with him to Kenya for the eagerly awaited show.
As indicated by reports, the female artist had reacted adversely to a solicitation by Koffi's better half, Cindy, provoking him to respond savagely.
In the video, Police officers and airplane terminal authorities are seen attempting to quiet him down not long after kicking the artist.
Koffi was then chauffeured to Villa Rosa Kempinski inn where he will stay amid his visit.
