10 authorities of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) have finally quit following the lack of certanity with the electral body.
The authorities including Returning officers and individuals from the electral body's secretariat are said to have decided to resign over panic in the electral body.
More officers have apparently held meetings with government authorities anticipating their safe way out after they were informed of a proposition to have them vetted, to learn whether they are fit to handle the 2017 General Election.
As per IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba, panic inside the IEBC was prone to undermine arrangements for nest years general elections.
