The shooting of several people in Kisumu, 20 of whom are admitted with gunshot wounds, during yesterday’s anti-IEBC demos has elicited sharp but mixed reactions even as Kenyans demanded justice especially for a little boy who was caught up in the melee.

The hashtag #JusticeforBabyJeremy has been the top trending topic on Twitter even as Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet announced investigations into what really happened have been launched.

 While majority condemned the shooting of little Jeremy Otieno and others, there are those who wondered where his parents/guardians were when the incident happened in the Kondele slums.

 One person died and at least 40 people were injured in the Kisumu chaos with Cord supporters claiming they were ethnically targeted. Jeremy is currently admitted at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Referral and
