Elgeyo Marakwet Senator, Kipchumba Murkomen, revealed on Monday the dirty things former Devolution Cabinet Secretary, Miss Anne Waiguru, has been doing, three months after she resigned from the Cabinet.
Speaking in Kericho while campaigning for Jubilee Party (JAP) candidate, Aaron Cheruiyot, Murkomen said moments after Waiguru resigned from the Cabinet, she started contacting him at night begging him to tell President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto, to order the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) to drop her corruption case.
Waiguru, who was linked to the misappropriation Sh 791 million NYS money, argued that the EACC and CID sleuths were trailing her and begged Uhuru and Ruto to stop them
Murkomen said that when they refused to help her, Waiguru threatened to expose them by linking them to corruption at NYS.
And to make good her threats, Waiguru named Duale and Murkomen last week as some of the senior Government officials who were involved in looting at NYS.
Murkomen denied stealing money from NYS saying he will sue her for defamation.
